Did my water just break!?

Ftm here, 41w 5d!!
I had been laying down for hours, sat up for about ten minutes to eat something my partner got for me. Went upstairs trying to get to the bathroom in time since I really had to go. I had a weak bladder before and i honestly full on wet myself more frequently than I should. But as soon as I got to the top of the stairs, I felt liquid gush out of me. I got to the toilet and still had a full bladder.
I decided to take every note possible on the leakage so I smelled my underwear. Oddly sweet almost?? Very light scent. Definitely nothing like pee. No color as far as I can tell. Very liquidy, it wasn't like my discharge. There wasn't enough of it to be all of it if it was my water. But it was definitely enough to soak through.
Was it my water!??
I'm not in any pain.

Update: I am shaky, sweaty, and extremely energetic!!! I know these are all symptoms of labor but I can't tell if it's just me freaking out or not. I feel like getting up and running around the room doing something to get ready because things are happening!!!! I can't tell if it's from nerves or labor.

Smell varies but usually amniotic fluid has a sweet smell to it, mine definitely did and many other ladies I have worked with says they think it also smells sweet. Good luck!

If you think you're water broke (even if you're not in labor yet) you should go to the hospital to be monitored because you could get an infection from your water breaking. Also I beliebe the hospital has a swab test to see if it was your water really breaking.

But maybe go to the hospital anyways? My doctor usually won't let the baby stay in past 41 weeks

Usually when your water breaks you will hear a pop then the water will Gush out also it smells horrible but unless you have contractions five minutes apart noting can be done
