16weeks movements?

Question

Can someone explain what the "flutters" people talk about before you actually feel baby movements? This is my longest pregnancy as the others ended in miscarraige. I feel things when I lay down at night.  Not sure if it's movements or flutters. The only way I can explain it is like something is moving around in there LOL.

The best I could describe it is if you were holding a fish in a bag of water and put your hand on the outside it would bump against the side and squirm to get away. That's what if fells like. I never had what felt like bubbles. This is my second pregnant and I don't have the fish in a bag feeling. It went straight to light kicks.

Mine was definitely teeny tiny popping bubbles under the skin at first. Almost ticklish. Now waaaay more & stronger bubbles but actual movement too & now can see where the fish comes in! Mines quite a big fishy hehe. 👍 xx

Flutters are the very first movement you feel. Baby is still so little that it feels like butterflies fluttering or a little fishy swimming. I would guess that you are feeling baby. (: congratulations!

I felt one and it was like a little fish flopping around inside. A weird description but I have no other words for it.
