should I go to the hospital?

In the pass almost 6 hours I've only felt my son give me a little kick once. Which is so unlike of him at all he is so active at anytime of the day. I been getting contractions but they aren't close, but they are strong. I want ease of mind. Btw I've tried all I can to get him to move.

My doctor recommends eating something sugary and then laying down on your side. You should be able to feel the baby move 10 times in an hour. If you don't get 10 movements within the hour, call your doctor

The fact that some people say when you're further along baby moves less, this is simply untrue. The movements are just different. Basically there isn't as much room to give a good kick or jab, you'll feel
More like rolling or just repositioning but you should still feel consistent movements. That being said, babies at this stage have pretty much developed a sleep pattern so you may be just going through a sleepy period or baby is turned around (his front to your back) so you won't feel as much movements that way as his limbs are facing away. But always go with your gut instinct. If you're worried, or feel something is wrong-go in. They'll do an NST most likely to check on your little babes. Good luck doll xx

Babies have their lazy days just like we do, I have a lazy baby and have to sometimes think did I feel,her move today. I wouldn't stress it hun sounds normal. Rjirs pregnancy mom second lazy baby. With my first I had to get monitoring weekly because they couldn't believe how lazy he was nowbhe is an 8 year old wild boy lol. Just because you don't feel it doesn't mean baby hasn't moved look at your tummy for position changes done days I will poke her and she ignores me I'm 36 weeks today

Yes, eat a meal or a snack & lay on your left side. He should kick about 6-10 times an hour... especially at night! Remember he barely has room to move in there so be patient. But if you feel like there's something wrong, go to hospital. Mommy knows best

My Dr told me, recently I must add, that I should have 10 kicks/movements within 10 minutes after I'm done eating and if not to get up walk around and lay down and try again. If I don't get it right within an hour then to go in.. given my baby is smaller than he should be idk if that is why mine is so different. BUT with my daughter, she barely moved the day before I had her and I went in because she wasn't moving. Turned out her heart rate declined drastically and that's why she quit moving and they ended up inducing me that morning, had her that night and the cord was also around her neck... better safe than sorry! If I wouldn't have went in, I do believe my daughter wouldn't be turning 6 on Monday. I suggest you go and good luck ❤❤❤

Trust your instinct. You know that baby inside you better than anyone. If you feel a change and think there might be something wrong then go straight to the hospital. You'd never forgive yourself if there was something wrong and you did nothing. That's what doctors are there for. Good luck X

Mine always moves with ice coffee and when she didn't move around I freaked out too but then an hour later she started again
