Is this a uti?

A few months ago I went to the doctor because I had pain in my vagina like a uti. When they tested me, I came up negative for having one, and was told to go to the gyno but my parents refused to get me an appointment. So this morning at 5:17 am I woke up to excruciating pain there and finally after 20 minutes it died down and I fell asleep. When I woke back up it hurt pretty bad and hurt REALLY bad to urinate. I am seeing a doctor at 11:30 but, has anyone experienced this? Could it be something besides a UTI? I have only had sex with one guy, and we were both inexperienced. He doesn't have anything and neither do i.
