Doctor Visit Questions

So when I go to my doctor/midwife, they don't really offer up any information. They ask me what questions I have, and if I don't have any, they send me on my way. I've never done this before so I have no idea what I should be asking or what to even expect throughout this process. Most of my information comes from this app and my friends who have kids. This just doesn't seem right to me. I've been told by a few of my friends that their doctors do the same thing. It just seems weird to me. I was wondering what experiences y'all were having with your doctors. Thanks!
