Vertigo due to pregnancy?

Maria
I was wondering whether any of you have suffered vertigo attacks during pregnancy. A week after finding out I was pregnant I had a bad episode that left me unable to stand for more than 2 days. Ended up in the ER and had to take 3 weeks of leave because the dizziness would not go away. I was diagnosed with viral vertigo (vestibular neuronitis) and told it had nothing to do with the pregnancy. I have been doing physical therapy to restore my balance ever since, not very successfully. I'm reaching the 6 months mark now and the dizziness that had subsided a bit has come back, at times really bad. I've seen a couple of posts about women losing their center of gravity as the belly gets larger, and others about baby movements causing a sensation like motion sickness. I wonder if this is why I've gone back to feeling bad. Any of you been through something similar? Thanks.
