Herpes and Birth. HELP ME PLEASE.

I was dignosed with HSV-2 a year ago, I didn't have it at the time of my first born, I am 24 weeks pregnant with my second..... . I am concerned whether or not I should have a vaginal birth. My doctor claims that as long as I take the prescribed medication from 32 weeks on, all should be well as long as I don't have an active outbreak during labour, however, I have read that symptoms may not always be visable, So even after checking me down there and confirming the go ahead, I'm concerned that there may possible still be viral shedding..........Should I just schedule a C-section? Please help me.......Any advice or experience is greatly appreciated.
