any green thumb/outdoorsy women?

We're moving to a new house there's a ton of trees out back behind our house. The yard had to be done bad so grass is cut , hubby uprooted two half dead bushes, and a bunch of dead plants . Before all this we seen tons of spiders .. So now more of course. Mosquitoes are like wolves.. My step mom told me to call the city Monday they will come spray the yard for mosquitoes . But now my husband is concerned  about the spiders coming in because he sprayed some kind of bug stuff around yard. So now he wants to bug Bomb the inside of house 😑 more money then more money to clean the carpets they just installed brand new ?? He says he thinks that'll help Cus he seen wolf spiders and even brown recluse in yard. But would it even be worth it to do inside house? If we have all the trees around us anyway ? I'm to pregnant for this crap lol
