Wanting to start my family

Trying to get pregnant I've been on clomid for two months now and was two days late on my period. But found out I just started my period today I was bummed.. I was wondering if it's takes longer for anyone to get pregnant while using clomid?? How many cycles you need to take before seeing a positive pregnancy test
