Advice please!

There's this guy I've been friends with for around 3 or 4 years, let's call him Josiah. So Josiah recently (in May) broke up with his girlfriend, so I know he's single. I'm just now realizing that I have the biggest crush on him, and I'm about 50% sure he feels the same way (told me I looked beautiful at homecoming and likes all my pictures on social media) I really really want to bring it up to him, but I'm afraid it's going to be awkward. We're not really good friends, just mutual really. Like we know each other through our friends, but these friends don't know about my crush on him because of the fact that they're also friends with him. I haven't been able to sleep over this, and I always get really excited/nervous whenever I see him and I get really red. Please comment.
