First kick?

Ladies, how would you describe the first kick you felt? I believe I felt one today I'm 16 and 3 weeks and after lunch I felt two gentle thuds behind my stomach..almost as if someone was poking me from the inside. Am I imagining things or is it possible it was the baby kicking. Please share your thoughts and experiences!

When I first started feeling the kicks at 17 wks, I compared it to those little involuntary twitches in your muscles you could physically see on your skin. The kicks however were less systematic and precise and more sporadic so I assumed that was our baby and now at almost 19 wks I know I was right!  Friends have compared it to paint brushes being brushed across your belly, mine did not feel like this but yours could!

I'm 16 weeks and 2 days and had pretty much the same scenario happen! It was after lunch and I was standing pretty still and I felt like someone just tapped me once from the inside on my left side!

I felt my baby girl kick last night. It scared the crap out of me. This is my fourth pregnancy and with my three boys I felt them around 14 weeks. I am 15 now. I've got extra room now so I was lying down and pressing into my lower stomach trying to find my uterus. When all of a sudden I got the hardest kick to my fingers! I screamed and jumped. I don't know why it freaked me out so bad lol but I was happy I finally got to feel her

I make 15 weeks tomorrow and idk of I've felt the baby.. for the past 2 days I've had this almost dropping sensation in 1 spot of my stomach and it felt so weird and unknown lol but I'm so excited and I hope it was the baby
