Carpel tunnel!?

Question

Who else is having problems with their carpel tunnel in hands? It is literally bringing me down! Hurts to brush teeth pretty much anything I was 37 weeks yesterday doc says should return to normal after birth I sure hope so!!!!! I can't live with this, use my hands way to much!!!

It really effects me when I'm sleeping. I can barely move my hands when I wake up

I have carpel from cheerleading and softball in high school and working for amazon for a year so I understand ur pain . But once it's done you won't feel it unless u do something dreadfully straining

Yes!! Me too. I'm 38wks and have had it for past few wks. Never had it before. When I wake up it's the worse . Hands tingling and can't make a fist. It's stopping me from doing a lot of things but it's probably a sign to slow down. Hoping it goes away after birth!

My 3 middle fingers on my right hand feel numb ... doc said it would go away after baby is born, that baby needs so much of blood supply and so that's why it's happening... but my baby was born a week ago and there has been no change. I'm worried, does anyone know if this is normal?

I had this start at 38weeks in my right hand. It was unbearable pain. I delivered my baby girl two days ago at 39weeks 4days and the pain is gone. I think I was lucky to develop it so late in pregnancy and deliver so soon after it started probably why mine was gone so quickly.

I am 37 weeks and 2 days pregnant, I have had problems with Carpal Tunnel since I was 21 years old I'm 26 now. All I did was get me a good brace for my hands and I wear it as needed. You can put icy hot or biofreeze on it, it is very soothing good luck

I hate it!  I'm 36.3 it started a few weeks ago. Never had it before,  thank you pregnancy lol.  Mine hurt so bad sometimes It hurts to wipe. Randomly they get super tingly and I've dropped coffee cups. My midwife also said it should stop after having the baby. .I sure hope so!

I finally caved and had hubby massage my hands with Voltaren. It was really bad lastnight - just couldn't handle it anymore! Aching, Burning, throbbing, swelling - ugh!!! The Voltaren worked wonders for a solid 4 hours. I plan to use it again at bedtime tonight.

Yes! I've had it in my dominant hand for about 6 weeks now! I hope the pain stops and sensation comes back soon. 37 weeks
