castor oil???

Question

How many people have tried castor oil to induce labor and what was the outcome? I want to try it but scared to.

I'm okay with the fact that I may have a bowel movement during labor. But my midwife told me if there is one thing I don't do, it's drink that stuff, diarrhea and pushing-not fair to anyone involved. 😂

I've had some cousins use it and though it did put them in labor they had some associated consiquences. My doctor has emphasized that it is not safe and is putting the health of the mother and baby at risk. Ok that note, although very tempting, I will choose to try other methods.

Cleaned my system, if your body isn't ready you'll get a cleaned system and a lot of contractions but it'll die down. I was in labor for 20 hours but because my body wasn't ready it was pointless and faded out

I know it's fine to do. But I have an hour and half drive to hospital and I don't want to have to go to the bathroom every little but on the way there if things happen quickly! And u can feel very nauseated.
