If one or both are under 18 - one year or less.
If they're both over 18 - that's their business.

Personally, I'd go as far as 10 years older than me and I probably wouldn't ever date someone younger than me.

As long as you are 18. And consensual. I can't say. It depends on each person. I'm 38 my guy is 27. He was 23 when we met it took me 6 months to get over the age difference I felt like a total pedofile took him a lot to convince me to say yes.  6 months he kept trying and trying. He's more mature than most guys his age. Probably because he raised himself.  The irony he looks older than me.   I can't date older guys or I just look like their daughter. Guys my age I look like their little sister. A few years older isn't bad. Just not too much older or they think you are a gold digger etc. Good luck.
