IM LOST AND CONFUSED 😔

So I am currently "dating" as of the two of us agreed that we are. But instead of him calling me his girlfriend around his friends and family he actually calls me his lady friend. I've already discussed this issue with him before but it seems to continue. So I'm rather confused on if I am just a friend, a friend with benefits or his actual girlfriend. I am not sure what more to do. I need help....
