24 hour urine sample?

Has anyone had to do the 24 hour urine sample to test for preeclampsia? I have a dr appointment Monday and they will go results but to be at preeclampsia, the results from the lab said the protein wasn't in preeclampsia range. Do you think it could be beginning stages of preeclampsia since my blood pressure and protein was still high and found? Just trying to find someone to help that has or is going through something similar.

I did one with my first baby. Signs of preeclampsia with proteins in my urine at 38 weeks. Ended up not having it. Later induced for my doctor's convenience.

I've had to do two 24 hour urine tests. I'm already high risk going into this pregnancy then added protein in my urine sent red flags everywhere. Blood pressure is awesome, no swelling, limited weight gain, but my protein levels in double what it should be :(  it's a sign but not always preclampsia. They have pretty much ruled it out for me but can't explain why I continue having protein but everything else is perfect! They have decided to induce me 3 weeks early just to be safe and I see both my drs 2x a week to ensure baby and I are safe. I have had this issue for 6 weeks now :(

I had to do one but never knew why lol they just told me to do it...I have hypertension
