Advice needed

So I met this 35 year old on tinder, I'm 19. We have only been talking for 2 1/2 weeks. We got in a fight the other day and he was about to end things it seemed, he said I was rushing things and we need to slow it down that I need to much watering. He said I reminded him of what being in a relationship was like and it pushed him away. He's a very busy guy always working upnorth. I've drove 5 hours to see him up there and he has driven 3 times to see me. I'm worried that I'm not good enough for him, I don't wanna be hurt again. I thought since he was 35 he would be ready to settle down especially with someone my age! But now I feel like he doesn't even like me and I feel so self conscious. Last night I said I wish you were as interested in me as you used to be and he said I would be interested if you just let it happen! I'm lost and maybe some older women have some advice for me. I know the age difference is not normal and some find it repulsive but I like this guy even if he's a jerk sometimes. I think the thing is I'm not a very confident person and I think so highly of him I just wish he felt so lucky to have me... cuz I don't think he's gonna get any better at his age. some advice would mean a lot!
