Yes it is hard, but I believe things happen for a reason.. my good friend of 12 years was there for me my entire pregnancy even though my baby was from a previous abusuve relationship.. we are now a couple, he is a single dad of two and treats my son like his own. It is still very difficult financially as I get no child support but we are making do.. and when my son smiles at me it makes it all seem worth it.

Absolutely!!!   My ex had issues so I went through my entire pregnancy alone and have been the only parent to my son since birth. I am also in a very demanding job.   He is 3 months and between the two..plus keeping up with my house and two dogs...I am wiped out!!!
