Should I go be checked out??

Ladies I know this might seem strange but I really need your advice here...
I have an anterior placenta that can sometimes effect how much I feel my baby move but he got himself into quite a routine since 30 weeks (I'm 34 weeks now) but over the last 2 days I've barely felt him move at all, a few light wriggles and that's it, my partner thinks I'm over-reacting because we've been to the hospital twice before for false alarms so I'm unsure weather to go over or not. I know babies movements are important but I don't know if it's just due to my plancenta or if there is actually a problem. Please help :(
