Anonymous rant about hubs

We had plans to do date night (we try to do this once a week) on Saturday since I made plans Friday with my girlfriends. Today we spend all day together but we were grocery shopping and doing house chores, not anything fun per se. He goes to get a hair cut and calls me to tell me he forgot (I had texted him saying I'm hungry) we had plans and had made plans with his buddy instead. He admitted deep down he wanted to hang with his friend rather than coming home to hang with me (even though he knew he should cause we made these plans awhile ago) so I told him I'd rather not be second choice tonight and he should just go with his plans. I'm not mad, I told him I wasn't. Just hurt that I'm not his first choice....but then again he's not a jerk and not the kind to always hang with his friends over me so that's why I'm not mad. Just hurt. Rant over. 😞
