Gender based on day of conception?

Is it true that if you have sex and conceive on the day or day after ovulation your baby will be a boy, and because female sperm live longer, having sex a few days before will be a girl?

I had sex one time all of July, the night I got my positive ovulation test and I'm now 15 weeks with a baby boy! That's crazy I never heard that but I guess it was true for me lmao

I'm not sure how true it is however we really wanted a boy and went by all of that stuff. We had sex the day my cervix was open after ovulation test, I came first to create the "safe walk" for the boy sperm and he went in a position that was uncomfortable to me as in he was hitting my cervix. Results... we just confirmed we are having a boy. So wives tales or not I have no idea but they worked for us in my opinion. 👏👏🤗

Didn't work for us. Tried for a boy and we still ended up with a girl.

I've read a lot of different medical articles that say this. It's because the boy sperm dies quicker and they're faster. So if you have sex on the day you ovulate or after boy sperm is more likely to make itbthere first. Doesn't mean it will ALWAYS happen.

Not true. It all depends on what sperm makes it to the egg. Old wives tale, maybe?
