Anyone's boyfriends/husband change after they seen baby?
I recently had to kick my ex out, I'm 37 weeks pregnant and so far he's not helped with anything, he's not bought her anything or bothered with any appointments, used to leave me to go to the pub and take drugs with his friends and not come back for days on end!
I'm so worried he's not going to change when he sees her 😔 just want the man back that I fell in love with! Is there any chance of this happening or am I just getting my hopes up? Feel free to tell me your experience with baby's dad, good or bad 💕

I kicked my ex out a month ago.

I wasn't pregnant, but we were trying again after we lost our little one this past July.

I literally got tired of him not contributing or caring about anything else but himself. When I was pregnant it was worse!

I had a full time job working 6 days a week and a iwent to school full time. My ex didn't help me one bit. He sat at home playing video games and smoking, talking about how depressed he was because he felt worthless. Needless to say it was too much for my body. I can only hope and pray that my baby didn't suffer as I did. I was 11 wks pregnant.

Only you know what's best, but for sure kicking him out was a start. I feel in my experience that when a man truly loves you he will prove it. There is nothing he won't do to show you how much he cares and is willing to do for you. The same goes for women. I was giving more than I was receiving.

I also paid all bills we shared, so you best believe when I kicked his ass out he moved in with friends. He can't pay his phone bills or anything else because he works part time as a server. 29 yrs old for Christ's sake.

Focus on you and your baby right now girly. I wish I had done the same instead of stressing and over working myself to make ends meet.

I'm not saying leave him for good. But the distance and definitely kicked him out will allow you to heal and take care of yourself and your growing little one. You don't need any high stressors right now.

Trust when I say he'll come back around. Whether to text you, call, show up, ask how you're feeling..etc. give yourself at least a couple weeks of rejuvenation and no contact. Make his ass work for your love. Make him prove to you how serious he is about you.

Don't torture him, but he needs to do more than (sorry about this) stick his dick in you and tell you how much he loves you in order to show you affection.

I am so proud of you kicking him out! That is very strong of you, and you don't deserve to be treated that way and be in such a negative environment, and neither does your child! I don't have any experience with it, but I will say you already sound like a great mother :)

He can only help himself. Im not saying this to be a dick but i grew up in a household where my father was/is this way. Only he can change that.

Some change some don't. I think it is definately different for a lot of men in that they don't feel like fathers until the baby is actually here in front of their eyes. Give him once chance to prove himself as a father and if he lets you or baby down get on with it on your own. It's not worth the stress especially when you're pregnant and then have just had a newborn ❤️
