Gift help for boyfriends parents?

I'm not super close to his parents and I have a feeling his mom doesn't fully support him dating me but I got them a Christmas gift last year and I'd like to do it again this year but I have no clue what.

Something sweet and kinda thoughtful but preferably not super expensive. Last year I got then mugs and some good got chocolate mix. Abs so far all I can come up with for this year is making them cookies and I'd like to do a little more than that lol
