bleeding at 4 weeks

I'm at 5w5d now, but two weeks ago I had bleeding for about 4 days. I went to the doctor and they thought I had an early miscarriage. However, I've done a blood test every week, and my levels are still increasing. They're still low (around 200 last week), but I'll go in again tomorrow to see if they've increased again. My doctor can't confirm miscarriage until my levels reflect it, but I was curious if anybody else experienced this. No pain went with the bleeding, and I didn't soak through any pads. But it was "normal period" bleeding. Good or bad outcomes?? Any suggestions?
