STI question

How long does it take for the one-time antibiotic that treats chlamydia to work? If my bf is still showing symptoms (I never did, other than frequent ruination) taking the antibiotic on Friday, is it possible that the chlamydia was resistant to the normal antibiotics? He's freaking me out because now I feel like we both have some other STD/STI
