Maybe it's just me but I find the cheap tests don't work nearly as well as the brand name. When I found out I was pregnant in July (had a miscarriage since) I took three brand name tests, they were all positive and I also took a dollarstore test to compare, I could barely see the line.. Everyone is different though!

A friend if mine got her bfp on a dollar store test like 3 or 4 days before her af was due

But I feel I must add I used Walmart cheapo on day period was expected and it was positive but for a week before I used expensive name brand tests and got negs.

Thank you I prefer cheapies to start then expensive to be sure but I wanted to check with others. I've never ttc and test this is new to me!

I tested at 14 and 16 dpo. Period was due 14 dpo. Both were negative. Got a positive 17 dpo.
