4 weeks and I feel like a terrible mother?!

I'm only 4 weeks pregnant and I know the baby is just super tiny at this point but I've heard other Mother's say they felt an automatic connection and love for their baby the second they pee'd on the stick. I don't even feel pregnant and as much as I try, I just can't really "connect" to the baby, I feel like a horrible mom. :( has anyone else felt this way?

OK realtalk: Your "baby" is like a couple dozen cells at this point - kinda hard to "bond with." I think technically it's still considered a blastocyst, not even a fetus, let alone a baby! Most women don't even know they're pregnant at this point. Don't sweat it! It'll become more real the more your pregnancy progresses. Just take care of yourself!

Normal Hun I'm 12 weeks n struggling to accept this baby soooo much! We have planned it n don't get me wrong I love that we did it and know once it's born I'll love it endlessly but until I feel it move or c it on a screen I'll struggle to let it sink in. We'd tried for what felt like an eternity to get a bfp n I ended up giving up n coming to the idea it prob wouldn't happen, I've not even heard a heartbeat yet I've made v v little life changes because emotions don't connect with physical at the mo. A part of me is excited a part nervous a part worried a part happy a part depressed... All sorts.. I've felt "ill" not pregnant since 2 weeks along so for 10 weeks now really I've felt like shite :/ the sickness n tiredness don't help but I just know in the end it'll all be worth it and we will get to see our little blessing! Xx

Im 8weeks and it still doesn't seem real so not sure how to bond if you get me? I'm sure when you see it on screen for the first time and feel it kick etc you'll feel it or when your babies born Hun x

Calm down! lol you'll be fine wait till the baby kicks and you buy baby stuff and you have all your sonograms and stuff by the end it still may not seem real or you may not feel a connection until the baby is actually in your arms I didn't with my first one till I was holding him it all felt so surreal then with my second as soon as I peed on the stick I knew I loved him then with this one too but sometimes she hurts me and I gripe at my belly but this mommy thing takes time and practice no on is perfect and there is no right way to be a mom as long as you love them and try to do what's best for them and keep them safe that's all you can do hon you're gonna be ok don't worry

Some people don't conect until after the baby is already born. You have another 36 weeks of pregnancy and then some to get connected. Don't beat yourself up
