When to test

My husband and I aren't trying to conceive yet but we aren't doing much to prevent it because if we were to conceive we would be happy! But lately my breasts have started to get sore and itchy. I'm in the middle of ovulation so it might be from that but they usually aren't this sore/itchy. They feel fuller, too. I took a test which was negative because I'm not due until Noevember 3rd. Is there a chance this could be pregnancy related?
