moon cycles and menstruation

anybody got their period in sync with the full or new moons? apparently it has connotations, like people in the past who bled with the full moon were seen as seductresses, witches, potential werewolves, etc. whereas new moon cyclers were seen as more "pure" or virginal lmfao. i got my period a week early on sunday, peak of the blood moon, which never happens to me- early periods and irregularity, i mean. i got sorta freaked that i was going to turn into a werewolf lmfao but i've checked out perfectly healthy and the blood moon (full moon of october) is associated with, of course, shedding blood and old skin as well as all sorts of stuff about hunting and preparing for the coming winter.
