is this Normal? please help!?

My last period was between sept 25-oct 3, (which is a little longer than usual, but hey it happens), but I just went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was a light brown color. Does that mean I'm on my period again or is it just old blood? I'm supposed to start again on Oct 23rd. However, I have been stressed the last like month and half bc im in the process of transferring from a JC to a 4 year college so maybe it's bc of stress?
