When to sterilize baby bottles..

I am just wondering..
I am 30w4d and today I feel like doing something to prepare for baby boy.. I washed his clothes and already put them away, hospital bag is already packed but I still don't know if it's already time to sterilize his bottles.🤔🙄

I have an electric steam steriliser.  If you run it and then leave items in it with the lid closed the manual says the stuff remains sterile and is ok to use for 48 hours. It's not really worth sterilising things too far ahead of time. You could wash clothes and blankets etc which will be put away in drawers if you really want to do something.

Do you have a sterilizer or do you plan on boiling them in a pot with water? I'm asking because when you sterilize them now and then put the bottles away in cupboards they will no longer be sterilized. So unless you have a sterilizer and plan on leaving the bottles in there until you actually use them it's pointless

Hot water a soap before use. Unless you have unsanitary water there's no reason to sterilize.

Bottles only stay sterilised for 24hrs.

All the bottles I've boughten so far i put in the dishwasher over the weekend. I'm also 30w4 days and figured with all the holidays and weddings coming up my weekends will be pretty busy. So I'm trying to get everything ready as I buy I it so it doesn't all pile up.
