help please!

I spotted brownish pink on Saturday and Sunday..nothing much at all...didn't even need a tampon...Monday I had a very light spell of what I thought was the beginning of my period...very little bleeding at all...Tuesday same thing and now it's like I'm finished! Very weird cycle for me...and I was 3 days late...should I test just to be sure that was even a period??
