How much weight your baby?

I am 37 weeks and 5 days, I had a ultrasound yesterday and doctor told us baby is 8 lbs. How accurate can be this? How much was your baby's weight in the bump? It was that weight real after baby born?

At 37w my baby was 6 pounds 1 oz (at birth) US a few days prior said 37%, when he was born he was 3%, so not really accurate...

They thought my baby was going to be really small (and even tho he was) he was 1lb heavier than expected!! :) so it can go either way I'm sure!!

My youngest son was born at 37wks and he was 7lbs 13oz. So that's not too uncommon.

I carried my first daughter 42 weeks and they predicted her to be 8lbs, she was 8.5lbs and 22in. My second daughter I carried 40 weeks and they said she would be over 8lb. She weighed 8lbs 10.5oz and 21in. I'm guessing my third baby will be over 9 lbs. I didn't gain more than 25 lbs with each of my daughters however their daddy weighted 21lb 7oz. Sometimes they are wrong but most of the time they are closer than far off.
