Minor side effect of plan B or worse??

Question

So me and my boyfriend had sex, and the condom broke. I got plan B within the hour it happened. Now, I'm having horrible cramps where my left ovary would be, and by horrible, I mean I would suddenly hold that area everytime a cramp happened. I'm mid cycle now, and I don't know if I should be concerned or not. Has this happened to anyone else? What should I do?

If you are mid cycle, you may just be ovulating! It usually happens around the 14th day of your cycle. I get get pretty intense cramps pretty much every month around that time. My gyno says as long as it doesn't last more than 3 days, not to worry about other problems. Mine usually come and go for a few hours at a time.

I have also taken Plan B (just once- broken condom before I was on birth control) and I did not experience any adverse side affects.

If you ARE ovulating, it's a good thing you got that Plan B, girl!!!
