breastfeeding with tongue tie?

Please help 😩 my little boy had a tongue tie which will be fixed at the earliest next Friday but feeding him is getting so so so hard, hes not too bad during the day for some reason?! But as soon as night time comes he's fussy and frustrated trying to latch on and up all night on and off the breast crying and falling asleep for five minutes waking up wanting to be fed and the same cycle again!

Has anybody ever fed a baby with tongue tie? Is there anything I can do Tom make things a little easier until we get it resolved? He's 8 days old!

My daughter got hers fixed at 13 days old. Night feeds are fussiest to begin with and the tongue tie just made it worse. Really wasn't much I could do. I gave her mylicon to keep her gassiness down since she would cry gulp even more air than her feeding alone. I tried per doctor recommendation to pump and give bottles which can deliver milk faster and prevent frustration but she wouldn't take them...Something you can try though. Mostly I counted down the days until her appointment....
