So I met never my dad but I had called him when I was young but it felt weird like I was talking to a stranger. We stopped talling after a few calls. Few years later my cousin add him on fb then, he added me. The other week I look up his fb n he unfriended me...and he also uploaded his cover to a picture of this two other other daughters. This makes me cry---idk something eve makes me feel better with other people's experience, thoughts or so, so dont be shy to share

My dad went to prison when I was 3weeks old. I've met him a couple times visiting when I was younger but he never felt like my father. I remember talking to him every blue moon and I think the last time I seen and talked to him I was 7. Then one day at 16 and on my 20th birthday I got a 5 minute call to tell me he was getting out when I turn 21 and I can come visit him. Well he got out of prison maybe 2 months after I turned 21 didn't get a happy birthday or a call never asked where I was I'm very close with his sister which is my aunt and my whole child hood on weekends I would go sleep at her house till this day we are still in contact. Anyway so I never heard from him the whole year I was 21 neither did my aunt. Come to find out a week before I turned 22 he went back to jail and this time it's for good. He doesn't even know my son or if I even have one. I do know him not being there has made me sad a couple times but it never really messed me up how people say it messes you up. I'm pretty mentally healthy.

My parents divorced before I was a year old. I remember asking my dad who he was when I was 3-4 and he disappeared until I was 14. When I was 16 he disappeared again. I'm now 19 and I haven't seen him in 3 years

My mom, who is a lesbian, basically had sex with my dad because she wanted a child. She told me it was this one guy for the for 21 years of my life so I decided I wanted to track him down because I had never met him (he lives in Florida where I was born and I live in Indiana). Well I found him, we did a DNA test and he was not my dad. So I confronted my mother about it and she told me that it was actually this other guy but she didn't want to tell me because he is black. Mind you, I always knew I was mixed as did everyone else who ever met me when I was younger but we lived in basically the most racist town in Indiana and I was tortured enough for having a gay mom and for looking mixed, she didn't want to make it worse. Well, I tracked him down via Facebook, messaged him, my mom message him and basically he doesn't want to admit that I could be his or doesn't care to. And that's pretty much the end of that.
