28 Week Visit

Hey all! I had such a full experience today at my 28 week prenatal appointment that I just had to share! I started out drinking the fruit punch drink for the glucose test (not bad at all!!), headed back to my repeat anatomy scan to find he's head down and measuring a week ahead (3lb, 5oz!) I even charmed the lady into switching it to 3d mode so I could finally see his cute face. That's when we saw baby's eyes open! Look at that cute nose too! Next was the 1 hour mark, so I headed to lab to have the blood drawn. 2 sticks later, she finally got it! Then I headed to my prenatal meeting with the doc, who measured my belly 1 week ahead too. 3 shots later (flu, tdap, rhogam) I got to go home! But I'm so satisfied that our little man is doing so well in there. Can't wait to meet our first little baby and become parents!
