My sappy story for today.

  My grandmother has made me and all (26) of my cousins a blanket for our "big birthdays" 8,12,16 then a wedding one. She has had breast cancer 3 times and on the 3 time she told us that she was done and wasn't going to do chemo anymore since my grandpa had passed of cancer a few months before she found out it was back. So while she was at home she kicked butt and made all of us 2 baby blankets a boy and a girl one. So since it's breast cancer awareness month, I wanted to make something in her honor. So I used the skills she showed me and started my baby girl a blanket. I haven't used a sewing machine since before she passed almost 5 years ago. I hope that my daughter will someday love this blanket and the honor it hold in my heart for her and for my grandmother.
