Sharing the gender??

Those finding out the gender. Will you be telling others or just keeping it to yourselves? & what are your reasons please??

We are finding out early with a blood test should know any day now. Not 100% sure if I want to share the news or not😬 I feel silly not though like I think everyone cares that much & im hiding it or something. But once everyone knows it's no fun having them all guess ha!!

Nope we won't. Some family members want to be surprised and we prefer gender neutral items so we can use them again. We are afraid that we will only get pink things if it's a girl and blue for a boy.

My husband and I are going to find out and not tell.  We don't want people giving us gender specific items that can't be reused for another baby of a different gender.  We've had two family members have wrong anatomy scans and we're greeted by a baby of the opposite gender at birth. And we like the element of the secret surprise for the rest of the family.... but we're planners so we need to know ourselves lol

We are going to reveal the gender but what we won't be sharing is the name we pick! We don't want anyone's opinion to sway  us, so we won't share the name until he or she is born

I don't want to share, by my SO is not great at secrets (he told about the pregnancy 2 days after my BFP!!), so I'm not sure it will work.

I'm 11 weeks right now and found out through a blood test as well! We decided to only tell our parents and siblings, but NOONE else! We're very "gender neutral" in our style of nursery, clothes, colors and really didnt want to deal with overly girly or overly boyish gifts. We would feel bad not liking things people put thought and money into gifting us, so keepin-it-quiet it is!

We haven't told the whole family we are pregnant, and we wont share the gender. We find out in November from blood tests. We are going to do a gender reveal, his mom wants us to but she doesn't want to know herself.
