How to stay positive?

Question

How do you stay positive? I have been TTC for almost 2 years now and had
a miscarriage in August. This is my first attempt to get pregnant after miscarriage and I should have got a positive today but nothing, instead I get some dark brown discharge :( my friend had a baby two days ago and I'm trying to be upbeat for her but it's hard. I want to be happy and positive this will happen for me but I'm stuck at the moment.

Wish I could give you something that's working for me, but I've got nothing. I have had one miscarriage and have been TTC for 10 months. Not as long as you but still approaching that one year "infertility" mark. Yesterday when I didn't get a positive OPK on the day I was expecting after taking Clomid for the second time, I broke down crying. For me, because of my PCOS, TTC has been more like waiting around for my period to start after a ridiculously long cycle or the doctor to run tests or give me medications. I don't ovulate on my own and I've really only had about 2 real shots these 10 months when I actually ovulated and could have gotten pregnant, and that's been the hardest thing for me. I think about TTC almost all the time. It's hard to be happy for other people even when I know I should. Probably the easiest time I've had so far was when we were looking for and then buying our house. It really gave me something else to be happy about and look forward to. And anytime we're able to buy something big for our house now that we're in it I feel a bit better for awhile. I wish I could be of more help, I guess one thing to be positive about is that you are never alone with something like this because it is just so much more common than you would ever think. This entire ttc thing is devistating. I have been trying for number 2 since lo was born. 2 n a half years ago. Took us almost 3 years to get pregnant. I was told I would never concieve on my own but I did! Stage 4 endometriosis, one ovary and tube, cervical cancer survivor. Several surgeries and procedures had left me infertle, or so they said. Two weeks before we were going to start our invetro cycle, I found out I was pregnant. So, everytime I dont get that bfp and start my period, I cry... A lot!  I tried clomid about 6 months ago with no responce after s few cycles, now fermera. Im ovulating now, but not getting pregnant. Its heart breaking. I just try and remember how I beat the odds before! I also agree about finding things to occupy my mind even if only for a little bit. Best of luck to you, and lots of baby dust your way.
