Sadie Hawkins Winter Dance.Should I ask my crush?

We met in one of my classes and at first we had this weird tension and kind've fought ( I know it's bizarre ) anyway a couple of months have passed (he dropped the class) and we see each other passing through the halls and there is this vibe we get from each other as a "love hate thing" and to be truly honest it is so hot😩 . He is two years older than me he is a senior in high school and I'm currently a sophomore. This is really early but I just need others opinions on what I should do, the dance is in Febuary so I have plenty of time to figure things out, but should I see where we go and ask him later?
