Juvenile myoclonic epilepsy and pregnancy:)

Diamond

Years ago, say 2010 2011, I was diagnosed with juvenile myoclonic epilepsy. According to my Mom I've been complaining about jumps/jerks since I was 13. Approaching the end of senior year in 2009 I experienced the jerks more heavily. The seizures happened between the years of 2009-2012. They weren't frequent at all. The myoclonic jerks were. I never took any meds because I just didn't agree with them. It seemed to me that eating healthy (and holistic approaches) helped a lot, but I couldn't stick with it. As years went by the jerks only occurred frequently during menses. They were quick and painless. To me, it's like I've out grown it. But still have some jerks when I wake up or fall asleep. I'm 4 months pregnant now. I've been worrying about whether I'm going to have a seizure or not because of the hormonal changes. So, I've been considering meds for the baby's safety.

Anyone with something similar? What should I do if I haven't had any seizures since 2012?
