How do you handle the stump???

When you cloth diaper a newborn. What do you do about the cord stump?
I plan on using the diapers with the adjustable snaps.

What if don't buy NB size? For example I'm going to be using thirsties duo wrap 1 for that stage, what will my solution be for that time until the stump falls off? I mean, with my siblings, with disposables we always just covered the belly button or folded it down..

If you get newborn sized and not just OS there should be a snap down for the stump.

I believe a lot of the snap diapers snap down for ease around the cord. My mom got us a few Rumparooz newborn sizes that do! She got them from kohls with Kohl's cash online 😉 But I'm sure you can find them elsewhere online if yours don't snap down.
