stupid arguments with my bf

My bf and i are having stupid arguements. I feel like he puts no effort into us and he comes back saying hes arguing with me because he cares. The arguement accomplishes nothing and then we forgive and everything is still the same. Obviously im arguing about this for a reason and because i want him to care more about me. What do i do? I want effort and him to care us
