Advice please!

I haven't had my baby yet. I'm having him on November 7th. My mom and dad live in Florida and I bought plane tickets to see them December 16th. Our baby will be a few days shy of 6 weeks old. Do you think it's okay to fly with him? Any other moms travel with a newborn so young? I guess I'm worried about his immune system and ears. Will the flight be too much on him? Thanks in advance
