Do you think our age gap will or a problem?

I am 20 and he is 36, we get along really great and everyone seems to like him. He treats me good, And makes me smile. My dads not too happy about the age gap and the fact that he knows him. What do you guys think? No bashing.

My parents are 50(mom) and 78(dad) my dad had me at 60 and they havent had a problem.

Im 25 and my husband is 32. That's not that big of a gap but when i was in 6th grade he was a sr in high school. Same with my sister and her husband she's 32 and he's 25.

I just feel like you two are at different stages in your life.. and I feel like he may want you to commit to him when you should probably be focusing on yourself. I'm sure you two love each other but I would probably find someone closer to my age. just an opinion.

Me and my hubby are 10 years apart and we work great!! I don't know how it will be when he's 50 and I'm 40 and he's chilling out in life and I still want to go go go :). But I love him and he loves me that's all that matters. And he's a wonderful dad.  Some older guys (from experience) just take advantage of young girls to mold them to who they want in a partner. They "help you" to become who they want.  Watch out for any of that.  If he supports YOU and what you want in life, go for it

I'm 20 and my fiancé is 36. My family loves him and his family loves me! We work great together. He's so great to talk to and we love each other so much! We have one child together and are trying for our second. Age is nothing but a number. :)

I'm 20 and my fiancé is 30, it gets in the way sometimes because I still have a lot of learning to do and he's been through it all, and some times I just want to act my age and go out and have fun & he doesn't have it. We just have to accept the fact that there will be differences and at the end of the night we still love each other.

My husband and I are 6 months apart in age and my best friend and her husband are 11 years apart in age. Were both happy no doubt just for me personally it would never work, but obviously it can. Her parents weren't to happy either but eventually they got over it. My in laws hated me for being too out spoken there will always be something your parents don't like but that's fine because they don't have to marry him.

My husband is 35 and I'm 21... We have a nice, healthy marriage... It all depends on maturity...
