How far away can you travel in the last month?

I'm planning on not traveling more then 30 miles(that's the closest walmart) my family is an hour away and will be coming to my house for thanksgiving. I will be missing out on my 2 nieces birthdays this year. Their birthdays are close to my due date. I feel awful but I don't want to deliver at a different hospital!!

I go to work, which is about an hour and 10 minutes, I think 55/60ish miles. My doctor is aware that I drive there, but there is a closer hospital to where I work. In an emergency I would go to the closer hospital. Many people delivering at my hospital live an hour from the hospital. I probably wouldn't feel comfortable going much further than an hour, but I think it is really what you are used to and comfortable with. I drive to work and back everyday, so I don't usually think much of it!

My family lives about 45 mins from me, and and hour and 20 mins from the hospital I'm supposed to deliver at. But there is a great hospital in my home town (where my family lives) and I would feel comfortable delivering there as well.

In the last month or so they ask that you stay closer to your nearest hospital. I travel 30 mins to my doctor & if I need to go to my hospital I'm delivering at its an hour & about 20 mins away! So that's as far as I can travel!

As far as you want just be prepared that you may go into labour and birth at a different hospital then you are booked in.

My doc recommended that I dont travel more then 30 mins..... The drive to the doc is 30 mins away... I took a longer ride on Thursday it was an hour and half I was so exhausted afterwards I plan on not doing trips like that now

I usually travel 3 1/2 hours every two weeks so my SO can see his other child n I c my mom!!! But I started swelling and the doctor told me to stop and walk every hour or hour n a half because pregnant women are susceptible to get blood clots 😳😳😳 I kno it scars me my due date is December 7th and he told me not to go see my family for thanksgiving just in case I go into labor so....
