Mirrored wall nursery thoughts

Hi- we bought a new house and we are going to use the room the previous owners had as a gym, for the nursery. One of the walls is floor to ceiling mirror with really nice mirrored border/molding. Initially I planned to rip the mirror down but my mom and husband both like it and think it'll add a nice touch to room. They think as the baby gets older he'll enjoy looking at himself in the mirror and we could also do special decals/paint on it as well for activities. Thoughts??
