Do you think being loyal while talking is important?

I never talk to guys from my school mostly because I don't plan on dating anyone from my school, but I let this one slide and we were talking and we talked about dating previously and then people at school would come up to me saying he did this and that with someone else so then I got jealous. Would you be okay with that? Because I think that being loyal talking is a step to show you're ready and obviously he wasn't

"Talking" is not an exclusive relationship so no..."loyalty" shouldn't be expected. Honesty should be though.

Talking and dating isn't really a thing were I think loyalty is a big deal. For me that's the test drive stage and I'm going to be talking/dating multiple people at a time. However if you have put people under the impression that you are only speaking with them then that's not right and you should tell him you are talking to other people. Once it becomes a relationship though then all other people need to be cut out of your dating life. But defining when you become boyfriend/girlfriend is important too. My best friend thought this guy had been her boyfriend for 3 months and posted a picture of them together for her profile picture and he called her up and asked her to take it down because it made it look like they were together. She was heartbroken

I think if your talking to someone you need to be honest with them if you are talking to other people and whatnot. When I'm talking to someone I only talk to them. They are my main focus.

Jealousy is a normal human reaction. I think it depends on how seriously you're talking. If your just flirting back and forth no. If your like seriously talking then yes.

Like if we're talking and testing the waters and not exclusive then honestly I don't care if he's or I is loyal or not.

he's not mine yet and I'm not his. It's not cheating cause you guys aren't dating, unless you guys decided to only talk to each other.
