37 weeks tomorrow

And almost 2 weeks ago I was 1/2 cm dilated. Well for the past few days I have had horrible cramps, really painful, leaving me out of breath. They only happened a few times a day the past few days, but today I've had them alllll day, and all kinds of braxton hicks as well. Could labor be starting? I don't associate these pains with contractions, since they aren't necessarily timable & like I said, I am having plenty of BH on top of these pains. Just wondering if labor is coming?!! Ftm here so this is all new.
